Industry stirs

It's great to see an entrepreneur having another go at proper industry. The kind that provides jobs, and is based on real added value from doing stuff.

Covering the country in call centres is not real activity. We need to make stuff. We have brilliant designers and innovators, but we don't help them through to making their products in the UK so we get the full benefit.

Reducing our dependence on importing a key metal is clearly the kind of thing our government should massively support. Remember too this mine will actually be spending a lot of money with suppliers once it gets going so the benefit is not just local to the mine.
